Short Course in Family Planning - Contact Tuition

Interests: Family Planning

Introduction

Family planning services are usually good entry points for women's health services, but these are also important components of other services such as antenatal and post-partum care, and child care. Providing women with access to safe and effective contraception is a critical element of women’s health. Enabling women to make choices about their fertility is empowering and offers women better economic and social opportunities. Contraception is critical to health, development and quality of life. Birth spacing also improves the opportunities for children to thrive physically and emotionally. The family planning workshop will assist the health care professionals to acquire more knowledge on this topic.
