The course is intended to benefit those who need to actively participate work in a project management environment: planning, controlling and managing projects within an organizational business structure. An introduction to project management in the Non-profit organizations (NPO’s) and Public Private Partnerships (PPP’s) domain has been added to assist the project manager within these specified scenarios.
Delegates who attend this course have an understanding of the nine PMBOK areas and/or understand project management processes. They are familiar with basic terminology used in a project environment and have ideally attended a previous project management short course on the fundamentals of project management, actively work in, or envisage to work in a project environment.
This Advanced Project Management course is supported with 5 days of full-time study, run in 2 blocks over a 3 month period.
The delegate provides two sections of the assignment:
Accredited, according to the HPCSA’s Medical and Dental Board Guidelines for Healthcare Professionals for 30 Ethical CEUs on level 2.
To qualify for the certificate of completion for this short course, participants should fully attend the workshops as well as successfully complete all forms of assessment.
