Death certification is an important in many socio-economic circumstances. The death notification form filled by the medical practitioner allows the family to formally register death with the department of home affairs. This provides the family with permanent legal a record of the fact of death. This therefore allows the family to acquire a burial order and dispose the body as well as settle the estate where applicable. Proper death notification is essential for statistical and epidemiological purposes

This is an online course. Participants have 3 months to complete the assessment process from date of registration.
At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
Accredited according to the HPCSA’s Medical and Dental Board Guidelines for Healthcare Professionals for 30 CEU’s on Level 2
Participants will receive a certificate of completion for this short course once successfully completing the assessment component.
