Higher Certificate in Management - Distance

Interests: Management

Introduction

The H. Cert (Management) is an NQF 5 qualification accredited with the Council for Higher Education. It is designed to develop the skills of students aspiring to be ready and fit for the work environment, entrepreneurs running their own business, as well as professionals aspiring to be or who have recently been promoted to be managers, supervisors and team leaders.

Students that enrol on this programme are exposed to complex business environments and are challenged to think differently through self-assessment and reflection. Through exploration of a range of management concepts, students discover winning techniques that improve their ability to manage in an ever-changing world. The most relevant management subjects have been weaved together to form a solid educational foundation for the emerging manager.

Our approach is to combine excellent theory and personal experience which results in a management programme that is inspiring and practical. To ensure that, we only select faculty who are experts/professionals in their field first before they become teachers in the subject, often using their own real life examples and to illustrate the point.
