Healthcare workers are placed at the frontline in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Man’s best friend however requires its own frontline to be ready for its needs. How does COVID-19 impact the field of veterinary medicine, including daily veterinary practices, interaction with client and their pets, possible ‘mechanical’ transmission between pets and people and the question of whether there may or may not be zoonotic transmission between veterinary staff, owners and pets.
How should you prepare your practice to be safe for yourself, your staff, man’s best friend and pet lovers? This course aims to equip you with the necessary tools to prepare you to join the fight in stopping the spread of COVID-19 while ensuring that animals and pets alike are still receiving the veterinary care they require.

Completion of this online training with 80% or more for the assessment will earn Veterinarians, Veterinary Specialists, Compulsory Veterinary Community Service Veterinarian (CCS) four structured CPD points.
