Nkagala District Highlights

During January to March 2015, FPD mobile lab team in Nkangala district trained 241 people in programmes that they offer. 65 Nurses and Admin Clerks received Basic Computer training, 54 Operational Managers were trained in advanced computer training and 50 Data Captures and Information officers received Tier.net training. The mobile lab team also trained 13 data captures and Information Officers on data reviews and 32 Operational Managers, Supervisors and Programme Managers on goal setting.

On 17-20 March 2015 FPD staff in Nkangala district held a door-to-door TB campaign in Phake and Siyabuswa Villages. During the campaign 176 households were visited in Siyabuswa. 194 adults and 28 children (under 5 yrs) were screened for TB and 52 suspects were identified and 52 sputum tests were collected.

In Phake village, 125 households were visited. 49 adults and 18 children (under 5 yrs) were screened for TB and 61 suspects were identified and 186 sputum tests were collected.
